Celebrating Ollie’s first birthday!
“And Max, the king of all wild things, was lonely and wanted to be where someone loved him best of all.”
All the someones who love King Ollie gathered and cheered and chanted and loved together on the little king’s birthday. Have you ever seen a cuter theme or more adorable little guy?! Maybe I’m biased, because his momma’s a friend, but I’ve photographed many kings, so I know a thing or two about adorable.
He might not have liked to get his fingers dirty (cake-smashing isn’t for everyone) but he ruled the day like a true wild one. “‘And now,’ cried Max, ‘let the wild rumpus start!'”

“And he sailed back over a year
and in and out of weeks
and through a day
and into the night of his very own room
where he found his supper waiting for him
and it was still hot.”
